Visit a CIEE Study Center
Visiting a CIEE Study Center is the best way to learn about the location, meet on-site CIEE staff and faculty, and speak with students about their experience abroad with CIEE. In 2009 and 2010, CIEE is planning to offer the following site visits.
2009 Pre-Conference Site Visits
CIEE Conference in Istanbul, Turkey: November 11-14, 2009
CIEE will offer a number of site visits in conjunction with the CIEE Conference in Istanbul. Visits to the following CIEE Study Centers will be arranged prior to the start of the conference.

Pre-Conference Site Visit Registration Deadlines and Visa Processing
Registration for the Pre-Conference Site Visits is $200 for CIEE and Academic Consortium members ($400 for non-members). The registration fee includes two nights at a local hotel, all meals during the site visit, and all intra-country transportation. Late registrations are accepted based on space availability and visa processing guidelines.

2010 Group Site Visits
Each Study Center group site visit lasts approximately seven to ten days and is designed for you to gain first-hand knowledge about the on-site facilities, meet with faculty, resident staff, and participants, and acquire a better understanding of the culture in which the programs operate. Schedules include visits to the host institution at which the program is based, class attendance, visits to homestays and/or dormitories, participation in student excursions, and adequate time to meet with CIEE resident staff and students, providing participants with an in-depth view of each program.

Group Site Visit Registration Deadlines and Visa Processing
The 2010 Group Site visit registration is $500 for CIEE and Academic Consortium members ($750 for non-members). The registration fee includes a single room at a local hotel, all meals during the site visit, and all intra-country transportation. Late registrations are accepted based on space availability and visa processing guidelines. As it may take time to process the necessary visa, please contact CIEE as soon as possible so that we may send you the necessary visa application documents.
