Student Winner—CIEE Online Program Evaluation
The winner of this year’s $1,000 STA travel voucher is Karisten Strong from Fairfield University. Karisten was randomly chosen from the pool of students who completed the CIEE online program evaluation. Karisten was a student on the Central European Studies Program at the CIEE Study Center in Prague, Czech Republic in the fall of 2008. Congratulations Karisten!
CIEE Annual Conference
Pre-registration for the 2009 CIEE Annual Conference in Istanbul, Turkey is now closed. However, you can register on site in Istanbul. Registration will open on Wednesday, November 11, at 8:00am. For more information, email conference2009@ciee.org.

Teach Abroad Announces a New Program in the Dominican Republic
A new CIEE Teach Abroad program will open in the Dominican Republic in January 2010. Applications are already being accepted for university graduates with Spanish speaking ability; the application deadline is December 1. The year-long program includes pre-departure TEFL certification, in-country orientations, a paid teaching position, housing and visa advice, iNext travel insurance, and CIEE support. iNext International Travel Insurance Announces Two New Policies
iNext is pleased to announce two new international travel plans; the iNext Premium Plus plan and the iNext Platinum Plus plan which offer two different levels of trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage. iNext Basic and Premium plans have also been upgraded at no additional cost.
