Program DirectorLatin America and Caribbean
It is with great sadness that we announce that Christine Wintersteen will be leaving CIEE after almost 12 years of service.
Christine has accepted a position at Bowdoin College, here in Maine, in the study abroad office. Most recently at CIEE, she has been on the Study Abroad senior management team as the head of programming in the Latin America and Caribbean region. Under Christine’s leadership, the number and types of programming has increased significantly. It goes without saying that Latin America and Caribbean staff and all of her colleagues here in Portland have simply loved working with her. It is a testament to her and to her staff that the programs in the region are not only of superior academic quality and provide an amazing array of opportunities for students, but are also wonderfully integrated into the local communities.
Christine will be at the upcoming CIEE Conference in Istanbul and will be with CIEE until November 23.
The Program Director, Latin America and Caribbean open position is posted here. We welcome applications.
