The Academic Consortium Board (ACB) is charged with overseeing the evaluation process for every CIEE Study Center program. The formal process is composed of a comprehensive program evaluation of the CIEE Study Center program once every ten years and an annual monitoring update of the program.
Comprehensive Program Evaluations
Following the Evaluation process, the evaluation report is made available once it is approved by the Academic Consortium Board (ACB). This usually occurs at the ACB meetings in November and April.
Academic Consortium Voting Representatives are encouraged to nominate team members for upcoming evaluations. Please send your nominations to the ACB Evaluations Coordinator, Cheryl Matherly. Click here for a schedule of upcoming ACB Evaluations with their associated leaders' names.
Evaluations are available through the Evaluation Quick Find or on the individual program pages, under the 'Student Experience' section.
Monitoring Reports
Each year the ACB monitors each of the programs. The ACB monitor discusses the program with the Program Director based on various documents provided by staff. Any issues raised by the monitor are then reflected in the Annual Study Center Review written each summer by the Program Director. The monitoring process is completed by October 1 for the previous academic year. A link to the process and the monitoring assignments are below.
