CIEE offers an annual summer scholarship to 50 high school students to participate in the Korea-US Youth Network. The selection process is highly competitive and students are reminded that only applications that meet all eligibility requirements will be reviewed.
Program highlights include
- International roundtrip airfare to Korea from a U.S. gateway city
- Two weeks in South Korea exposing you to Korean language and culture through lectures as well as activities with Korean students
- Accommodation and meals provided by Yonsei University
- An on-site orientation and airport transfers upon arrival
- International medical insurance coverage and 24-hour worldwide assistance provided through the CIEE iNext travel card
- Onsite staff managing the program and offering 24-hour support
- Program excursions in and around Seoul that allow you to explore the culture and history outside of the classroom
Program does not include
- Domestic travel to and from U.S. gateway city (gateway cities to be confirmed)
- $150 application processing fee for selected finalists
- Spending money for personal purchases
- School Credit
