What should I expect?
- Be part of a team! All employees at Schlitterbahn work in teams and rotate positions daily. You will never be alone or in the same place all the time.
- Schlitterbahn has an International Coordinator who works with Work and Travel students exclusively to answer questions, file for Social Security, arranges field trips, assist with any housing or job problems and much more.
- Supervisors and Managers who work with you and answer any questions or concerns you may have.
- We fully train you for your job. Training is paid and takes place at the park once you arrive.
- End of contract bonus available to students who fulfill their work contract and schedule requirements.

- We print weekly newsletters that tell you what is happening in the park and the surrounding area.
- We have weekly activity nights for all employees and a monthly Boogie Bahn night (a stationary wave ride).
- We’ve planned trips to downtown Houston, the Aquarium, Zoo, Museums, Professional Sports Games and much more.
- Expect to work outside in the rain, the cold, and the very hot Sun.
