Position Description: High guest contact position. Must be willing to serve guests in a friendly and courteous
manner. Above average ability to speak and understand English required.
Position offered : Food Host
Position Description: Handles guest sales in a prompt, friendly, courteous manner using suggestive selling techniques.
Rings up sales on a cash register, handles money, and counts out correct change. May also be responsible for
preparation of various food products according to prescribed recipes. Required to maintain a clean and orderly area
including the preparation area, guests’ areas (tables, chairs, serving lines, condiment stands, etc.) and all equipment.
Learns menu items, portions, accompaniments and prices.
Position offered : Games Host
Position Description: Actively encourages guests to play games and awards prizes to winners in keeping with techniques
learned during training. Some locations require the employee to talk through a microphone to entice play. These positions
require constant interaction with the public.
Position offered : Room Attendant (Housekeeping)
Position Description: Are responsible for cleaning and making up guest rooms. Are also responsible for maintaining the
cleanliness and appearance of hallways and public spaces throughout the hotel.
Position offered : Ride Host
Position Description: Responsible for safe and efficient operation of one or more of Cedar Point’s rides.
Position offered : Employee Housing Host
Position Description: Responsible for cleaning the common living areas of employee housing facilities such as hallways,
restrooms, and lobby areas.
Position offered : Lifeguard
Position Description: Responsible for guarding swimmers and for safe and efficient operation in a Cedar Point aquatic
area.
Position offered : Admissions
Position Description: Sells admission tickets. Responsible for ringing up sales on cash register and counting out correct
change as guests enter the park.
Position offered : Guest Service Sweep
Position Description: Assists guests throughout the park while sweeping and maintaining cleanliness of midways, park
benches, water fountains, and grassy areas.
Position offered : Traffic Host
Position Description: Responsible for conducting the flow of Cedar Point traffic as cars are entering and exiting the park.
Position offered : Restroom Host
Position Description: Responsible for cleaning the restrooms and the common areas at Cedar Point. Restroom hosts are
assigned to specific areas of the park.
Position offered : Laundry Host
Position Description: Responsible for sorting, hanging, and folding a variety of linens ranging from towels and sheets to
uniforms.
