Visiting a CIEE Study Center is the best way to learn about the location, meet on-site CIEE staff and faculty, and speak with students about their experience abroad with CIEE. In 2007-08, CIEE is planning to offer the following site visits. Note that specific dates for each of the visits will be posted in the near future.


2007-2008 Site Visits

Fall 2007
CIEE Study Centers in Perth, Sydney, and Wollongong, Australia (late September)

Spring 2008
CIEE Study Center in Bonaire (early February)

CIEE Study Centers in Accra and Legon, Ghana (mid-February)

CIEE Study Centers in Madrid, Alcalá, and Palma de Mallorca, Spain (early April)

CIEE Study Center in Lima, Peru (mid-April)

CIEE Study Center in Hyderabad, India (mid-April)


Each Study Center site visit lasts approximately seven days and is designed for you to gain first-hand knowledge about the on-site facilities, meet with faculty, resident staff, and participants, and acquire a better understanding of the culture in which the programs operate. Schedules include visits to the host institution at which the program is based, class attendance, visits to homestays and/or dormitories, participation in student excursions, and adequate time to meet with CIEE resident staff and students, providing participants with an in-depth view of
each program.
