The Student Recognition Award acknowledges an exemplary student, or students, who studied at a CIEE Study Center during the previous academic year. The recipient(s) receive their award at the CIEE Annual Conference.

Student Photo + Story Contests
Each semester we hold a photo and story contest requesting CIEE Study Center alumni submit a photo or story that reflects their international experience. With the photos, we ask that they submit a picture of something that captures the moment, or a candid shot of their friends or host family. For the story contest, we ask them to recount an event that hopefully opened their eyes, broadened their horizons, and gave them an experience they will never forget. Our participants have discovered another country in a way no tourist ever can while studying abroad, and we’d like them to share those memories with us, and you.

Scholarship Recipients
For many students, a study abroad experience is only possible with financial assistance. Each semester CIEE awards scholarships and grants. Competition is keen and the quality of the materials submitted is a testament to the number of hardworking and dedicated students eager to experience study abroad.
