Changes to CIEE Brochures
When you receive your order, or download copies of the new materials, you'll notice a number of improvements to this year's materials.
Study Center Catalogs
The Study Center catalogs have been redesigned to help you and your students better navigate the many programs we offer. Highlights of each catalog include:
- Regional introduction which helps students think about how they should choose a program within a specific region.
- Improved introductory chart which allows the reader to compare programs in a region quickly, from eligibility requirements to program features and subject areas.
- New program layout that better highlights important program features; increased number of photos taken by students and staff at the program site to provide both students and advisors with a better feel for the specific location and program.
Panorama
The Panorama, formerly the Viewbook, helps the student begin thinking about what they are looking for in a study abroad program by asking questions such as: where do you want to go?; how much change are you ready for?; and how do you want to immerse yourself?. It also includes general CIEE information about on-site staff, scholarships, evaluations, the next step, and more.
Discipline Chart
With 95 programs in 33 countries, the discipline chart is now its own piece, providing an overview of subjects available for study at all program sites. Readers can search by area of study, program location, or both and easily determine what language courses are taught in. This year we have also added a designation for programs with no language prerequisite.
Concentration Brochures
New this year, the Concentration brochures highlight specific subject areas; the first three brochures in the series include Science, Business, and Internships.
CIEE Study Centers: What's New, What's Different
The 2007 What's New, What's Different document outlines all significant program changes at the CIEE Study Centers since the publication of last year's catalogs. This should help you quickly identify those changes that will impact your students. Click here to download the What's New, What's Different document.
Program Fees and Cost Breakdowns
CIEE Study Center program fees for Winter, Spring, and Calendar Year 2007 have been posted on our website and are available within each Study Center program description. Comprehensive fee sheet and cost breakdown documents are also available for you to download.
New CIEE Series: Notes from the Field
Over the coming weeks, be on the lookout for a new CIEE series, Notes from the Field, written by Dr. Michael "Mick" J. VandeBerg, the CIEE Chief Academic Officer, sharing his personal impressions from recent visits to CIEE Study Centers around the world.
