We hope you’re having an enjoyable summer. With the start of the fall semester quickly approaching, we want to make sure you have everything you need to advise on CIEE Spring 2006 programs and beyond.
New CIEE Catalogs Available
New CIEE Study Center catalogs for 2006-07 (Spring 2006, Summer 2006, and Fall 2006) are now available for download and will begin shipping early next week. Click here to download an order form and fax your order to 207.553.7699.
Remember, we can’t send catalogs unless we receive an order from you so please do so today to stock your office for the fall!
Catalogs
You will notice that aside from a new photo on each, the catalog covers have a very similar look to last year’s brochures. The biggest change comes when you open the catalog -- we have included new, color, introductory pages in each catalog this year, providing you and your students with interesting photos and facts about each CIEE Study Center location.
Viewbook
The Viewbook has become a basic overview of all CIEE programs. This is meant to be a brief introduction to what CIEE has to offer, and we have expanded the subject chart, which now includes all programs and all sites. The expanded chart was a request from many of you; we hope it meets your needs and that you continue to send us feedback on the materials.
Advising Manual
If you would like to receive a 2006-07 Advisor Manual (set of 3-hole punched catalogs for your CIEE advising binder), please indicate the number of copies you require on the form. If you need a new binder, please indicate this as well.
And remember, the one-page advising sheets for each program that used to appear in the printed Advisor Manual can now be viewed on our website. For a sample Quick Facts advising sheet, please click here.

What’s New, What’s Different for 2006-07?
As the layout and design inside the CIEE Study Center catalogs remains consistent from year to year, we have created a document that outlines all significant program changes since the publication of last year’s catalogs. This should help you quickly identify those changes that will impact your students.

Program Dates, Fees and Cost Breakdowns
The program fees and dates for Spring 2006 have been posted on our website and are available within each Study Center program description.
The comprehensive fee sheet, cost breakdown, and program dates pdf documents will be posted to the site on August 15.
The Knowledge Series
As you know, the Knowledge series is intended to enhance pre-departure preparation for both students and their parents, and to provide advisors with additional resources to assist in the process. Our first series on health, parents, and safety has been well-received and we are in development for the next series, to be available in January.
