study abroad in chile for U.S. high school students
Chile's diversity is unique in Latin America- from the Atacama desert which erupts in flowers only every five years, to the snow-capped tip of Mount Aconcagua (over 22,000 feet), to Pichilemu, home of some of the best surfing in the world, to skiing at one of five ski areas above 11,000 feet just 1 hour from Santiago, to the untouched wilderness of Patagonia.
Chile is often considered a Latin American leader in business innovation, government policies and modernization- but it remains tied to its historical values. Strong family values and tradition, respect for its natural resources and agricultural history, and belief in personal responsibility are characteristics of the Chilean people.
