The CIEE Gap Year Abroad program offers high school graduates an incredible opportunity to go abroad and immerse themselves in the French language, culture, and environment.

academic program

Gap year students receive language instruction 12.5 hours per week, meeting 2.5 hours per day. Classes consisting of 10-15 students take place in a local international study center. Classes are taught for intermediate or advanced French study, therefore, students are required to have two years of prior French to be qualified for this program.
