All participants of the High School Abroad Korea Summer program are encouraged to apply for the Korea Foundation Scholarship which covers the entire fee of the program, minus only your domestic flight to a U.S. gateway city to join the group and spending cash!
The application process for the scholarship is the same as general admission to the program including three short answer questions and an essay. The Korea Foundation reserves the right to review and accept all applicants. The Korea Foundation is focused on exposing Korean culture to a diverse array of U.S. high school students from various backgrounds. If you are not selected for a scholarship you may still be eligible for acceptance to participate on the program. Over 80 scholarships will be distributed for this program!
The Korea Foundation, a nonprofit organization, was established in Seoul of the Republic of Korea in 1991 to promote awareness and understanding of Korea throughout the international community, and to enhance goodwill and friendship through the implementation of various international exchange programs.
