The South Korea Summer program offers American high school students an opportunity to participate in a life changing experience while learning about Korean culture firsthand. Spend two weeks this summer immersing yourself in all that South Korea has to offer. Tour the ancient Gyeongbokgung Palace, enjoy local cuisine, tour a traditional Korean village, explore the National Museum of Korea, and more!

The South Korea Summer program is the perfect opportunity for those high school students who do not have time to spend a full semester or academic year abroad, but are looking for a short term opportunity immersed in Korean culture. Hurry and apply for the Korea Foundation Scholarship and you could have almost all your expenses paid for too!
program highlights include
- International roundtrip airfare to host country from U.S. gateway city
- Two weeks in South Korea exposing you to Korean language and culture through lectures as well as activities with Korean students
- Accommodation and most meals at Yonsei University’s on-site cafeteria
- An on-site orientation and airport transfers upon arrival
- International medical insurance coverage and 24-hour worldwide assistance provided through the CIEE iNext travel card
- Supervision and support throughout the program including five Yonsei-appointed chaperones per 20 U.S. high school students, and one CIEE-appointed chaperone per 20 U.S. High school students
- Program excursions in and around Seoul that allow you to explore the culture and history outside of the classroom
program does not include
- Domestic travel to and from U.S. gateway cities (currently international flights depart from Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City – though subject to change.)
