Participants will be placed with host families within commuting distance from the host school where students will take classes. Local public transportation makes it easy for participants to travel between homestay and classes. All host families are interviewed and screened staff in China in order to assure homestay standards and participant safety. While host families receive a small supplement in order to purchase food and pay for extra utilities, their desire to share their culture and daily life with our students is their main interest.
