Classes are conducted in Italian. High School Abroad participants are expected to follow the Italian school curriculum and to fully participate in the academic program. Students will be enrolled in an Italian State High School at the appropriate grade level. The designation of the student's grade level and class schedule are at the discretion of the school.
Classes are generally held from 8:00am to 1:00pm Monday through Saturday, with some students returning to school in the afternoon for additional classes or extracurricular activities. Class schedules are determined by the school and participants are expected to attend all designated classes.
The student must pay for schoolbooks, and any other fees charged by the school for extracurricular activities.
