On the day of departure to be eligible, students must…
- Participants must be between the ages of 15 and 18 years old on the day of departure
- No prior knowledge of Chinese is required to participate in the program
- Participants must have maintained an overall academic record of a “C” average in the past three years of school
- Must demonstrate, through the application process, their flexibility, maturity, adaptability and readiness to face the challenges of living in a new culture
