On the day of departure, students must…
- Be between the ages of 15 and 17 years old, however, some 13th year options may be available for older students
- Have maintained an overall academic record of a “C” average in the past three years of school
- Have completed the equivalent of two years of high school Spanish (highly recommended and students will be required to complete a two-week intensive preparatory course for beginners upon arrival, which is included in the program price)
- Demonstrate through the application process his/her flexibility, maturity, adaptability and readiness to face the challenges of living in a new culture
