volunteer opportunities
CIEE offers Gap Year Abroad participants a variety of volunteer opportunities, from helping with after school activities in an elementary school, in the cafeteria of a senior citizen residence, or distributing sandwiches to the homeless. CIEE requires 5-10 hours of volunteer time per week. Students may choose their area of service according to availability and level of Spanish.
