CIEE

CIEE's
mission is to help people gain understanding, acquire knowledge
and develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally
diverse world.
We approach our tasks aware of the great responsibility we are given
to help mold tomorrows citizens in a complex and fast-changing
world.
We are committed to quality and excellence. We have developed stringent
quality indicators for all of our activities, and the tracking mechanisms
to insure that we continue to improve our levels of service to our
customers. We rely on the advice of academic leaders to assure the
quality of our educational programs.
We are committed to being a truly global organization. We continue
to open new offices, establish new programs, and form new partnerships
on every continent. We have initiated exchange activities between
and among many of the newer countries we now serve and expect this
pace to quicken in the coming years.
We are committed to utilizing the best technology available to communicate
with and educate the people who participate in our programs and
utilize our services. Internet and intranet systems will be an increasingly
important part of our operational and administrative services.
We are committed to service excellence which means we need to employ
and empower well trained, highly professional and personally responsive
staff. We provide development, training and growth opportunities
for our staff, and we support staff exchanges to make our employees
as global and international as our programs and services themselves.
We are a people oriented organization, internally and externally.
We move into the next century, and into our next fifty years, with
lofty, but achievable, goals. We are proud of our past and excited
about out future
and our ability to contribute to the world
in which we live. CIEE moves forward with the same spirit of commitment
that has already made us a worldwide leader in international education
and exchange.

CIEE is designated by the U.S. Department of State as a sponsor of Work & Travel, Trainee and Secondary Student programs.
