A Taste of Culture

Indulging in foreign foods and learning about diverse eating customs is one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways of experiencing a different culture.

Many of CIEE’s Host Families had the pleasure to do just so, when their host students participated in CIEE’s Cooking Competition.

CIEE High School students cooked traditional dishes together with their host families, took photos and sent this together with their recipe to our national office.

We received an overwhelming response! We would like to use this opportunity to thank everyone who participated. You all did an amazing job!

But we had to make a decision, although it was a difficult one.
