This photo is of my own exchange student that I host and several other exchange students that are in my region, doing our community service project. I took the girls on a project which involved packing cookie tins and then delivering them to our church’s elderly. We visited with this precious 90-something year old gentleman who is widowed and he had the biggest smile when we all drove up and gave him his cookies and a hug! The girls and I stayed and visited for about an hour with him and I am sure he will never forget it, and I also know it made a lasting impression on the girls.
