Making a Difference
Since 1947, CIEE work exchange programs have allowed more than 300,000 people to travel to the United States. In turn, American businesses have enjoyed a more dynamic and international workplace through their partnership with CIEE. Our programs not only help to fill staffing needs and internship opportunities, they also serve to enrich the lives of participants, their coworkers, and the communities in which they live and work.
The goals of our work exchange programs are achieved one person at a time. It’s the individual experience of each participant, U.S. coworker, employer, and community that adds up to the success of our programs. Ultimately, U.S. host companies and employees gain a more worldly and diverse view, and the international participants return to their home countries with a better understanding of the U.S. and positive impressions to share with their countrymen.
