New Online Orientation
CIEE recently launched a new online orientation for Work & Travel USA participants, replacing the staff-led orientations. This new orientation represents a major departure from how we have prepared students in the past. It is designed to involve, challenge, and engage the participant, to put the learning in a realistic context, rather than just words on a screen. Questions, interactive “games,” and decision-making challenges serve as a way to reinforce the messages and themes of the orientation.
A major enhancement over past orientations is that participants will be able to save their progress, log out, and return at a later time to finish their orientation. Even better, students will also be able to log back into their orientation at any point during their program if they need reminders.
