Work & Travel USA is a program that helps US companies to meet their seasonal staffing needs, while enabling international students to experience the US first-hand as both employees and tourists. Since 1969, CIEE (Council on International Educational Exchange) has been designated by the United States government to administer this J-1 exchange visitor visa program as a means of promoting cross-cultural exchange between the US and other countries of the world. Year after year overseas students continue to take advantage of this unique program that provides them with in-depth exposure to life in the US and the opportunity to work and travel.
As an employer, this program offers you an opportunity not only to fill a labor shortage or to meet seasonal demands, but also to diversify your workplace and to engage in the rewarding enterprise of intercultural exchange.
