In-Country Orientation
Upon arrival in your host country, you’ll take part in a comprehensive, in-country orientation that will get you acquainted with your Program Leader and peers while helping you settle into your new environment.
You’ll take a tour of the city to familiarize yourself with the area, practice using public transit, locate resources in your neighborhood, and review safety procedures. You’ll take part in your first Leadership Seminar; share activities, meals, and free time with the members of the program; and develop strategies and tools you can put to use during your service project.
