As a language and culture assistant in a city, town, or rural area in Andalusia, you can be part of bringing a nationwide bilingual initiative to life. There, you’ll work alongside primary or secondary Spanish teachers covering a wide variety of subjects such as history, math, mythology, and physical education as well as English to develop an authentic bilingual classroom experience. In addition to collaborating with teachers, you might also teach English to school staff, make presentations as an expert on your home country, work with small groups of students, or facilitate extracurricular activities like an English language club, an international day, or volunteering. Outside school, you’ll experience the spirit of Andalusia—hip yet traditional, changing yet constant—yourself.
