While cultural learning has traditionally been part of the foundation of the study abroad experience, it is important to examine if this is still the case today. Rather than being a central component of a study abroad program, has cultural learning come to be viewed as an add-on to the experience?
At this year’s conference, we seek to explore the role of local culture in today’s study abroad experience and examine how specific academic and cultural experiences contribute to the development of global citizens.
