Mission
Our mission is one shared by many in international education: "to help people gain understanding, acquire knowledge, and develop skills for living in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world." To fulfill that mission, CIEE provides both outbound international education experiences for university students, faculty, and administrators, and study, work, and internship opportunities for people coming into the U.S.
University Membership
CIEE study programs are governed by a consortium of more than 200 member universities providing quality control and support. For more information about our academic consortium and membership click here.
Publications
CIEE has conducted considerable research in conjunction with major players in international education including NAFSA, WES, and AIEA. We’ve published our own Journal of Studies in International Education serving as a medium for noteworthy scholarship and provocative thinking about international education.
