Karsta Hurd

Hola! Soy Karsta (my friends and family call me Kari).  I am one of the Program Leaders here in Madrid.  After a 25 year career in K-12 Education (primarily teaching high school Spanish), it is so exciting to be sharing this experience with the students.  I'm a mom of two (mostly) grown children, ready to start my "empty nest" phase.  This experience is the perfect way to kick that off.  I lived in Pamplona for a semester during college, and returned to Spain for a 2-week visit with students in 2000.  I can't wait to share these experiences with our travellers.
