Hurricane Katrina forced us to relocate the 2005 CIEE Annual Conference from New Orleans, Louisiana to Miami, Florida. The 2005 conference, Taking Part: Experiential Learning in Education Abroad, took place as planned from November 16-19, 2005. Its focus was how to integrate experiential learning into study abroad, one of the most discussed issues in international education today.
With over 30 sessions and a half-day workshop, the theme of “Taking Part: Experiential Learning in Education Abroad” was thoroughly discussed and presented in several different ways. Click here to read the conference program which describes the workshop and sessions presented in Miami.
