Have more than a suntan to show for your summer

Live a lively summer. Indulge a passion, explore a fascination, or challenge the status quo—of the wide world or your personal routine. Spend summer days in a cloud forest or in a semi-rural health clinic. Study business, natural or social sciences, humanities—and everything in between. If your schedule doesn’t allow you to go abroad for a full semester, CIEE programs that run from two to eight weeks fit into any summer schedule. Most of our programs don’t have a language prerequisite, so you can go even if you don’t know any language but English. Get a summer’s worth of international experience and course credit on a CIEE program.

But which? Your options are vast, and very different. You can dive into the Caribbean Sea to do field work in marine ecology, tropical ecology, conservation. Focus on the regional healthcare challenges—and possible solutions—in either Argentina, Botswana, or the Dominican Republic. Understand the tradition of social acceptance in Amsterdam.
